Southwick’s master tailors have been making suits for American presidents, ambassadors, and other men of distinction since 1929 in their Massachusetts factory.
For Summer 2012, Jack Spade has collaborated with Southwick to create a suiting collection that offers a downtown interpretation of authentic American style, without abandoning the classic natural shoulder for which Southwick is known.
We invited our old friend, garmentologist Mister Mort, to put together some looks and photograph the collection in its natural element.
“While shooting these boss men of NYC I was pleasantly surprised. I was afraid they might look uncomfortable in someone else’s clothes. The garments fit so well it appeared as they were wearing their own clothes.” – Mister Mort
