Woburn, Mass. – November 13 – 2006 – Demandware (www.demandware.com), developer of the first true on-demand ecommerce solution for retailers, announced today the appointment of retail industry veterans Jamus Driscoll and Tom Griffin to Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Business Development. Griffin and Driscoll are veterans of the retail industry and bring unique experience from successful retail software companies including ProfitLogic (acquired by Oracle) and retail fulfillment provider Yantra (acquired by Sterling Commerce).
Jamus Driscoll, Vice President of Marketing
Driscoll comes to Demandware from Oracle Corporation, where he was a member of Oracle Retail's marketing steering committee and led the marketing teams for Solutions Marketing and Customer Marketing. Prior to Oracle, he was at ProfitLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise merchandising software, where he was the Director of Solutions Marketing responsible for positioning and marketing to primary enterprise customers. Before joining ProfitLogic, Driscoll served as Industry Marketing Manager at Ascential Software, a provider of enterprise data integration solutions, and was responsible for market analysis, strategy, and go-to-market tactics for the financial services industry. Driscoll holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Haverford College.
Tom Griffin, Vice President of Business Development
Griffin joins Demandware from Sterling Commerce where he was Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances and led the development of a new corporate strategy and program for alliances. He joined Sterling Commerce through Sterling’s acquisition of Yantra Corporation, where he was Vice President of Strategic Alliances and had a distinguished track record of creating revenue generating, strategic relationships.
Prior to Yantra, Tom was with Siemens Business Services, where he held a number of progressively responsible positions in Sales, Business Development and Marketing. Griffin holds an MBA from Boston University, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Washington University in St. Louis.
