Foundation Canvas Feature Slideshow

  • OFF THE BEATEN TRACK

One of the world's oldest fabrics, canvas dates back to 3000 B.C., when it was used to construct tents and sails. Crafted of densely woven natural fibers, it is extremely durable and made to travel. Canvas naturally picks up marks with use so its character grows with age. To clean canvas, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent or spot dry clean.

  • AUTOGRAPH STYLE

Our name and address labels are fashioned after the ink-stained identification tags found on vintage military duffels. Similar to their predecssors, they instantly imbue each item with the storied look of an heirloom.

  • HIGH FLYING

Our trademark rivets take design cues from the lightweight, aerodynamic rivets that reduce drag on modern planes. They feature an airmail inspired icon that recalls the aerial journey of a handwritten letter.
