Like JACK SPADE, Los Angeles-based artist Geoff McFetridge blends discipline and purpose in
everything he creates. His design philosophy is rooted in the economy of elements, yet he knows that
when you have something to say, spare doesn’t mean mundane. Whether it’s a hand-doodled drawing or
custom die-cast hardware, sometimes the strongest statements are simple and direct.

Geoff participated in the seminal Beautiful Losers show and has since been featured in solo exhibitions all
over the world. He was also the art director of the Beastie Boys’ magazine Grand Royal before founding
his design studio Champion Graphics, where he has worked on a range of projects, including music videos
for the Whitest Boy Alive, ceramics for Heath, and title sequences for the Virgin Suicides and Where The
Wild Things Are.
